Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!!

Alfonso: To some people, love doesn't exist unless you acknowledge it in front of other people.

Estelle: When you love someone, you love all of them... you gotta love everything about them, not just the good things but the bad things too. The things that you find lovable and the things you don't.

Plots:

It is Valentine's Day.

A florist, Reed Bennett, proposes to his girlfriend Morley Clarkson, who accepts. But then something happens all of sudden. Reed’s closest friends, Alfonso Rodriguez  and Julia Fitzpatrick, aren't surprised when Morley changes her mind and leaves Reed the same day.

Meanwhile, on an airplane to Los Angeles, Kate Hazeltine, a captain in the U.S. Army on a one-day leave, befriends Holden Wilson. When the plane lands and Kate has to wait hours for the taxi, Holden offers his limousine, which Kate accepts.

Julia Fitzpatrick, an elementary school teacher, has fallen in love with Dr. Harrison Copeland, but does not know that he is married to Pamela. Harrison tells her that he needs to go to San Francisco for a business trip. Wanting to surprise him, Julia also flies to San Francisco, despite Reed's warnings. Julia finds out that he is married and gets the name of the restaurant where he and his wife will be dining that evening. The restaurant-owner allows her to dress as a waitress, and Julia makes a scene at the restaurant.

One of Julia’s students, Edison, orders flowers from Reed, to be sent to his teacher. Julia suggests to Edison to give the flowers to a girl named Rani in his class who has a crush on him.

Edison's babysitter Grace Smart is planning to lose her virginity to her boyfriend Alex Franklin. The planned encounter goes awry when Grace's mother discovers a naked Alex in Grace's room, rehearsing a song he wrote for Grace.

Edison’s grandparents, Edgar and Estelle Paddington  are facing the troubles of a long marriage. Estelle admits to Edgar about an affair she had with one of his business partners. Although she is deeply sorry, Edgar is very upset.

Grace’s high-school friends, Willy Harrington and Felicia Miller, are experiencing the freshness of new love, and have agreed to wait to have sex.

Sean Jackson, a closeted gay professional football player, is contemplating the end of his career with his publicist Kara Monahan and his agent Paula Thomas. Kara is organizing her annual "I Hate Valentine's Day" party, but becomes interested in sports reporter Kelvin Moore, who was ordered to do a Valentine's Day report by his boss Susan Moralez; with whom Kara shares the hatred of the holiday.

Paula has hired a new receptionist named Liz Curra, who dates mail-room clerk Jason Morris. Jason is shocked when Liz turns out to be moonlighting as a phone sex operator. Liz explains that she is only doing this because she has a $100,000 student loan to pay off. Jason is upset, but eventually reconciles with her after seeing Edgar forgive Estelle.

Sean comes out on national television, and Holden, Sean's lover, goes back to him.
Kate goes home to greet her son Edison.
Willy drops Felicia off at home after a date and they kiss.
Kelvin and Kara hang out at Kelvin's news station where they later kiss.
Alfonso dines with his wife, and Grace and Alex agree to wait to have sex.
Edgar and Estelle redo their marriage vows, Harrison eats pizza alone after Pamela apparently leaves him, and Morley tries to call Reed, while Julia and Reed begin a romantic relationship.

Quotes:

Reed Bennett: That's what I'm doing here. Because apparently everyone and their mother felt that way but nobody had the guts to tell me. And now, I'm left with some stupid ring and an empty closet and an ache in my gut the size of Texas because nobody told me.

Kara Monahan: My closest relationship is with my Blackberry, Thank God it vibrates !

Male Anchor: There you have it, folks. Young love. Full of promise, full of hope, ignorant of reality.
Reed Bennett: Love is the only shocking act left on the planet.

Reed Bennett: When I was a kid, most of the advice that my dad gave me was crap. But there's one thing that he said that was pure genius... he said, if you're ever with a girl that's too good for you, marry her.

Kelvin Moore: Listen, I'm a player. But I shut down my playerness from New Years to St. Patty's Day just so I can avoid this day.

Susan: I need happy, I need romantic, I need love, and I need it from you.
Kelvin Moore: You need Jesus...
Susan: Go, go right now!

Mailroom Danny: Dude, he's from Indiana. They only celebrate Love Your Cousin Day.

Reed Bennett: Did you even consider marrying me?
Morley Clarkson: Of course I did... but when you ask a girl to marry you, do you want her to just consider it? Or do you want her to just know?

Morley Clarkson: And then there's the whole thing with my parents' horrible...
Reed Bennett: Your parents, wait, hold on, wait a second, just because your parents had a bad divorce doesn't mean that you're going to have a bad divorce. They're not hereditary, it's not like it's contagious.
Morley Clarkson: You're not getting it. You know the first phone call I made after you proposed was to my office, to confirm my ten o'clock meeting.

Reed Bennett: You don't keep inklings to yourself! You share them! You're like hey guy, I got an inkling you're headed for a fall here! That's what friends do, that's common knowledge, it's in the damn handbook!

Reed Bennett: There's this girl.
Oversized Baggage Agent: Oh don't tell me, that'll take the fun out of guessing. Let's see, this is gonna be a tough one, there's a very pretty girl and she's about to get on a big airplane and if you don't stop her, she'll never know how you really feel.

Reed Bennett: Not exactly.
Oversized Baggage Agent: What am I missing?
Reed Bennett: If she gets on the plane, she's gonna find out the hard way that the guy that she thinks she's in love with is a spineless lying creep!
Oversized Baggage Agent: That's no good.
Reed Bennett: No, it is no good. And I can't let that happen. Because this girl, she is great! She's like... like sunshine. Everything is better when she's there. I can't stand the idea of some jerk hurting her, I just can't. I can't.

Reed Bennett: What's the greatest love song of all time?
Alfonso: "Rock and Roll All Night," by Kiss.
Reed Bennett: That's a stripper song.

Oversized Baggage Agent: [to Reed] Look, I'm 52, and I wear a bright blue shirt to work. Don't make me madder than I already am.

Alfonso: You don't step in to love, you fall in. Head over heels. Have you ever seen someone fall head over heels in love? It's ugly, bro. Toxic, septic.

Reed Bennett: How did you and your wife get it so right?
Alfonso: Easy, I married my best friend!
Reed Bennett: I thought I was your best friend.

Estelle: I wanted to tell you the truth!
Edgar: Unfortunately, the truth makes everything else seem like a lie.

Julia Fitzpatrick: What do you do with the flowers?
Reed Bennett: You know the ones that nobody wants?
Julia Fitzpatrick: So you're giving them a second life?
Reed Bennett: Yeah, most chaps throw them away. I like the idea that tomorrow somebody's going to see them floating by, wonder where they come from, behind the mystery of it all. I used to, actually, put them together and practice new designs with them and drop them off at a random doorstep with notes in it: "Somebody out there loves you". And they get to thinking, "What if they found out that somebody me? Would they want me to be the one that loves them?"
Julia Fitzpatrick: I would... want that.

Love Happens :) Live in the Moment

[A/N: I was really into this movie! Hahaha]

Tyler: Whatever you do in life will be insignificant, but it's very important that you do it. Because nobody else will. Like when someone comes into your life and half of you says you're nowhere near ready, but the other half says: make her yours forever.

Plot:
In 1991, an 11-year-old girl named Alyssa "Ally" Craig witnesses the murder of her mother on a New York City Subway platform, on the F Line at 18th Avenue and McDonald Avenue elevated station in Brooklyn.
Ten years later, a 21-year-old Ally is a student at New York University. She lives at home with her overprotective detective father, Neil Tyler Hawkins, a moody, directionless 21-year-old, is auditing classes at NYU and working in a bookstore. He has had a strained relationship with his businessman father, Charles since his brother Michael's suicide (after which Tyler got Michael's name tattooed on his chest). Charles appears to ignore his youngest child, Caroline, with whom Tyler is very close.
One night, Tyler and his roommate Aidan find themselves in trouble with Neil. Later, Aidan sees Neil dropping Ally off at NYU. He decides to retaliate against the detective by persuading Tyler to sleep with and ultimately dump Ally. Tyler reluctantly agrees to meet her. After spending some time together, Ally and Tyler bond over the losses in their lives and begin to fall in love. After Ally sleeps over at Tyler's house, she and her father have a fight, ending with Neil hitting her. Ally then moves in with Tyler and Aidan. Meanwhile, Caroline, who is a budding artist, is featured in an art show. Tyler tries to convince his father to attend the show, but he is forced away on business. Tyler angrily confronts him after the show, which drives a further wedge between the two.
Later, Neil's friend, a cop, recognizes Tyler with Ally on a train coming from a beach holiday with his family. Neil breaks into Tyler's apartment and confronts Tyler. Tyler provokes Neil by confessing to Aidan's plan and his initial reason for meeting Ally, which in turn forces Tyler to confess everything to Ally. She leaves him angrily and returns to her father's home. The couple remain alienated until Aidan visits her to explain that only he is to blame, and that Tyler was sincerely in love with her. They are then shown to be back together, as they walk with Caroline in the park.
Before this reunion, Caroline is bullied by a group of classmates at a birthday party; they cut her hair off, and when they tease her in front of Tyler, he turns violent and ends up in jail again. Charles is impressed that Tyler stood up for his sister, and they begin to reconnect.
Later, Charles asks Tyler to meet with him and his lawyers at his office. Charles takes Caroline to school and is late, so Tyler waits in his office, where he sees, on Charles's computer, a screensaver of pictures of Tyler, Michael, and Caroline when they were younger.
Caroline is then shown in class and the teacher draws her attention to the board, where the date is revealed as September 11, 2001. Tyler looks out at Manhattan from the window of his father's office—which is located in the North Tower of the World Trade Center. He's standing at the exact point that Flight 11 hit the tower. Once the 9/11 terrorist attacks begin, the rest of the family (along with Aidan and Ally) are seen looking horrified at the towers before the camera pans over the rubble, showing Tyler's diary. Tyler is later buried next to Michael.
Some time later, Caroline (whose hair has grown back) and Charles seem to have a healthy father-daughter relationship. Aidan, who has since gotten a tattoo of Tyler's name on his arm, is working hard in school and Ally is finally taking the subway again, after having avoided it since her mother's death. The film ends as she looks at the camera with a small, sad smile.

Quotes:
Tyler: [from trailer] Gandhi said that whatever you do in life will be insignificant. But it's very important that you do it. I tend to agree with the first part.
-----
Tyler: [from trailer] Someone's been trying to tell me something. Make her yours forever, and I'm working on the forever part.
-----
Aidan: [In jail] I'm glad you're happy being alone in your library with all your piles of books. But I want a future... I want a girlfriend, a wife, a divorce, and a mid-life stalking episode.
-----
Caroline: Why do you think Dad doesn't wanna spend time with me?
Charles: She knows I'll take care of her. That's all there is, Tyler.
Tyler: 'That's all there is?' Not enough.
-----
Aidan: [to Tyler] That's why chicks dig you, man. They love this freaky, poetic crap.
-----
Neil Craig: You're kinda lost, aren't ya?
Tyler: You think you know me, but you don't.
-----
Tyler: If you could hear me, I would say that our finger prints don't fade from the lives we've touched.
-----
Aidan: Come on! Just one drink!
Tyler: When was the last time you had one drink?
Aidan: [thinks] Communion.
-----
Ally: I have my dessert first.
Tyler: Is that a political statement? A medical condition, perhaps?
Ally: I just don't see the point in waiting. I mean, what if I die while eating my entree?
Tyler: Is that probable?
Ally: It's possible. What if I choke? What if an asteroid come hurling down onto the restaurant?... I'll tell you what, if you swear on your eternal soul that I'll make it through my entree, then I'll wait. But before you answer, consider that if something does happen, you'll have to live the rest of your life knowing that not only did you lie to me, but you denied of my one last indulgence. Are you prepared to shoulder that kind of responsibility?
-----
Tyler: [tries to kiss her, but is denied]
Ally: Not tonight. Not never, but just not tonight.
Tyler: So, dessert first in case of asteroids, yes. But kissing a guy you seem at least somewhat attracted to before riding off into the unknown New York night alongside a panda you've only just met, no?
Ally: [kisses him] You're weird.
Tyler: I know.
-----
Tyler: Love's involved with spending time together, but spending time apart, can lead to loving even *more*.
-----
Ally: You're the ass-aholic!
Aidan: Yeah, well... I dunno about - Wait, what?
-----
Aidan: I sold your girlfriend a toothbrush.
Tyler: You sold my who? What?
Aidan: You know, your girlfriend. That voluptuous delightfully oblivious little blonde you left in your bed yesterday?
Tyler: Yeah
Aidan: Yeah, I sold her a toothbrush. I got three bucks.
Tyler: Congratulations.
Aidan: Yeah are in order. 'Cause that sale inspired our newest business venture. The S.L.U.T. It's a Single Lady's Universal Tote. It's a one-night-stand travel pack for women. You know? We throw in make-up and toiletries a cell phone charger, cab numbers... We retail it for $19.95. Maybe we'd do an infomercial.
Tyler: Do you think women will buy this, with actual money?
Aidan: Okay. Yeah. You know what? Fine. Be cynical. But think about it, at one point in history, two people had a conversation, a lot like this one about the lightbulb. One went on to fame and fortune, the other probably went to work at Mickey D's or something.
-----
Aidan: Hey, what about Atlantic city for your birthday this year, man?
Tyler: Really?
Aidan: Yeah, we could get a suite. You could call toothbrush girl.
Tyler: I think I'd rather be sodomised with a toothbrush, than that.
Aidan: It's your day man, we could work something out.
-----
Aidan: Megan! Meg- wow, you look great.
Megan: Do. Not. Speak.
[She keeps working]
Aidan: Ok. Two beers.
[to Tyler]
Aidan: Is she mad at me or something?
Tyler: She's not mad. That's how people act when they're really into you.
-----
Caroline Hawkins: Mademoiselle Fleischman had to snap her fingers at me a lot today. And everybody laughed. They all think I'm a freak of nature.
Tyler: Mademoiselle Fleischman. Ma petite soeurette, une freak of nature. Mon Dieu. Sacre Bleu. French toast.
-----
Aidan: What the hell happened in the kitchen? Looks like somebody's water broke in there.
-----
Aidan: I want a girlfriend.
Tyler: What?
Aidan: Dinners out, movies, regular sex. I can handle that... for like a... summer.
Ally: You're such a romantic.
-----
Aidan: [to Ally] He's in love with you. I've only ever seen him look at one other girl the way he looks at you, and she's a lot shorter and shares his DNA.

Every End is A New Beginning

[A/N: Well, honestly, it’s one of my favorite movies J LOL ok don’t mind me]
This movie was based on Nicholas Spark’s novel with the same title

http://www.filmofilia.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/LastSong_poster_7.jpg

Will Blakelee: The word is you're from New York. So what are you doing down here?
Veronica "Ronnie" Miller: My mom shipped me and my brother to my dad's for the summer.

Plot:

Veronica “Ronnie” Miller’s life was turned upside-down when her parents divorced and her father moved from New York City to Tybee Island, Georgia. She hates her father, but then again, what so called family wouldn’t lost its bond. Three years after, her mother decides to  let her and her li’l bro, Jonah to their father house to spend their summer. Steve, her father, felt happy as he has the chance to reconnect with his estranged daughter. Steve, a former Juilliard School professor and concert pianist, lives a quiet life in Tybee Island, the small beach town in Georgia where he grew up, working on a stained glass window for the local church to replace the one the church lost in a fire. According to the locals, it was Steve who had set fire to the church one night.
After arrival, Ronnie becomes miserable, defiant, and defensive toward all those around her. Including handsome, popular Will Blakelee whose introduction involved crashing into her during a volleyball match, and accidentally spilling Ronnie's strawberry shake on her. She shrugs him off and meets Blaze, an outcast who lives with her boyfriend Marcus. While at a beach campfire, Marcus hits on Ronnie and Blaze mistaken this for Ronnie flirting with him. Angered by this, Blaze sets Ronnie up by putting a bracelet in Ronnie's bag. Just as Ronnie walks out she is promptly arrested, which reminded her of an incident that occurred back home. Later on, Ronnie discovers a Loggerhead Sea Turtle nest at the beach by her house and while protecting it, she meets Will again on his volunteer work for the aquarium. After a night of staying up to defend the turtles with Will, she discovers he is deeper than she believed, and begins to have feelings for him.
As Ronnie falls in love with Will, she also manages to form a better and stronger bond with her father. As their relationship deepens, Will invites her to his sister's wedding. Later that day, the turtle eggs hatch and her father collapses with a coughing seizure that evening. Ronnie immediately has Steve rushed to a hospital and realizes that he had been diagnosed with cancer long before her summer visit (in a prior scene, he reveals having been on a medication and possibly setting fire to the church) and why her parents' marriage has fallen apart. She decides to start spending more time with her father since he is unlikely to survive any longer.
Around the same time, Ronnie and Will get into a confrontation because Will confessed that Scott—his bestfriend—had actually set fire to the church, but he had never confessed. Ronnie was upset, really upset, that she broke up with him. With Will now leaving for college, there is no time to patch things up. She continues working on his father’s piece of music (titled "For Ronnie"), finishing what her father could not (because of his disease). When she finally plays the last chord, she looks up to see that Steve had died while listening to her play and is heartbroken.

Ronnie:Truth only means something when it's hard to admit! Don't you get that?”
Steve:Sometimes you have to be apart from the people you love, but that doesn't make you love them any less. Sometimes it makes you love them more.”

Jonah: Mom says its because she has PMS.
Steve: Do you even know what PMS is, Jonah ?
Jonah: Of course I do dad, I'm not a little kid anymore. It's the Pissed at Men Syndrome!

Kim: “We're not perfect. Any of us. We make mistakes, we screw up but then we forgive and move forward.”

Steve: [in letter to Ronnie] Love is fragile. And we're not always its best caretakers. We just muddle through and do the best we can. And hope this fragile thing survives against all odds.

Will: Evening!
[he puts his chair on the sand. Then takes out a lantern]
Ronnie: Are ya movin' in?
Will: Hey, if I wanna get some sleep, I'm gonna need something to scare off the racoons. They don't like bright lights or music.
[pulls out a radio and turns it on]
Ronnie: You're planning to sleep here?
Will: Well, the truth is, the town sorta got together and we decided we just couldn't take another one of your bad hair days.
Ronnie: [she hits him with her book repeatedly] What's the matter with you?
Jonah: [from the porch] This doesn't look good. You're not okay with this, are you?
Steve: [shakes head as a 'no']
Jonah: Then we better maintain visual contact.
Steve: [nods his head as a 'yes']
[A/N: Well, actually the scene was so funny! LOL]

Ronnie: Stop smiling like that. It's creeping me out.
Steve: Is my smile creepy?
Jonah: Let's see it. (Steve shows something that he thought as smile)
Jonah: (straight face) Kinda.

Will: No one's made me feel like you do, Ronnie.

Kim: When did you become so mellow?
Steve: As soon as I got out of New York City?

Ronnie: You lied to me dad.
Steve: I didn't lie.
Ronnie: Yes you did. You said you were fine. You're not fine! That was a lie!
Steve: I hoped! I didn't lie it's not the same thing.
